DUPLEX steel has an austenitic-ferritic structure with both components in approximately the same ratio. This material combines high strength performance of ferritic Cr-steel with the corrosion resistance of austenitic CrNi-steels. The material perform parallel the high strength and toughness as well as high resistance of corrosion and tension crack corrosion for working temperature unto 250°C. Excellent weldability.
